I series directed and produced the 3-part series RENDEZVOUS WITH THE FUTURE (Bilibili) exploring the science behind the international science-fiction bestseller The 3 Body Problem with Chinese author Cixin Liu. The series was watched by a combined audience of more than 80 million and won the 2023 GZDOC Golden Kapok Award for Best Documentary Series.
My feature-length documentary HUBBLE: THIRTY YEARS OF DISCOVERY (BBC / Discovery Science / Xigua Video) telling the story of the Hubble Space Telescope and featuring interviews with acclaimed astronauts Mike Massimino and Story Musgrave was nominated for the 2020 World Congress Of Science & Factual Producers Awards and 2021 BANFF World Media Festival Rockie Awards.
Most recently, I produced and directed an episode in the Chris Packham science series EARTH (BBC / PBS) using state-of-the-art CGI to tell the story of the last 66 million years from the end of the dinosaurs to the present day. Broadcast in 23 countries, the series was nominated for the 2024 BANFF World Media Festival Rockie Awards.
Filming in Antarctica for BBC Horizon
